By using YahoLink (the website and the Android app), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Description of the service
YahoLink is a real-time hike tracking service. It allows a hiker to share their GPS position with family and friends via a live map. The service is provided as-is for personal, non-commercial use.
2. Account
Access to the hiker dashboard requires an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to transmit unlawful, harmful or fraudulent content, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service, or to interfere with its normal operation. The service must not be used for commercial tracking or surveillance of third parties without their explicit consent.
4. Data and privacy
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy , which describes the data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
5. Availability
We do not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted availability of the service. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue it at any time without prior notice.
6. Limitation of liability
The service is provided without warranty of any kind. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including any interruption of GPS tracking during a hike.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
8. Data deletion request
You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by sending an email to julien@syx.fr. Please include the email address associated with your account. Your data will be deleted within 30 days of your request.
